I’m Gina. I am Russian American. I was born in Manhattan and grew up in Brooklyn. I have always been interested in how people in society function and how people relate, especially coming from New York, full of diversity, and being a first-generation American. As a young girl, I found it fascinating how kids played and how adults’ talked in cafes, and I have always had a habit of taking myself out of the picture and being objective.

Later on, I realized that culture and socialization played a part in that style of communication, and through traveling to Europe and the Middle East did I see how style and culture can co-exist. I think of the words ethereal, romantic and easy when dreaming of the lifestyle for Americans. People need a place to relax and unwind after tacking business projects or their tough jobs. I have been searching for an out-let to market that knowledge of lifestyle and culture. Sugar and Spikes helps bring that out—constructively collaborating music, fashion and charm at events and parties to give Rockers and all walks of life that outlet to shine and party ;)

I love doing creative shoots and projects and I have a knack for organization. I have been modeling for a while and working behind the scenes to get those shows rolling. Being with friends and hanging out in the sun is amazing, as well as writing, reading, traveling and learning. I am in school and even when I finished you might find me at craft classes and skills programs learning some more tricks and trades. I love media design and hope to do web-design in the future. I have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life but I have a feeling I am on the way to figuring that out. Hopefully, I will have enough people to support and follow me on the path that is being drawn out as I walk.
