A native New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem; Apryl has always shined in the arts amongst her peers. With many talents she possessed, Apryl began dancing and playing the piano at the early age of five and when she was seven she started taking acting classes and singing in church. At the age of twelve she began taking classical voice lessons. Her voice grew, and developed, as she matured. When Apryl was in middle school she realized her dire need to envelop herself in the arts, putting herself side by side with other young talented individuals. She transferred in the eighth grade to Professional Performing Arts School and graduated. Although Apryl wanted to immediately begin her professional career post high school, she was strongly encouraged to attend college. She did so and went to Hampton University where she majored in Psychology and continued on to be a Hampton graduate.

Apryl was a part of many organizations, groups, and ensembles all her life, which allowed her to flourish in her talents, developing them into skill. Apryl is currently working on her music and recording. She is overwhelmed with joy to be back in her home city, ready to take this competitive industry head on.
